नई दिल्ली। आज से तीन नए आपराधिक कानून भारतीय न्याय संहिता, भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता और भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम लागू हो गए हैं। इन नए आपराधिक कानून के तहत पहली एफआईआर भी दर्ज हो गई है। नए आपराधिक कानून के तहत पहली एफआईआर दिल्ली में दर्ज की गई है। भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 285 के तहत ये एफआईआर कमला मार्केट थाने में दर्ज की गई है। पुलिस के अनुसार नए आपराधिक कानून के तहत पहली एफआईआर एक रेहड़ी वाले पर दर्ज हुई है। ये एफआईआर नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन के फुट ओवर ब्रिज यानी एफओबी का रास्ता रोककर सामान बेचने के आरोप में दर्ज की गई है।

तीन नए आपराधिक कानूनों को अंग्रेजों के दौर में बने आईपीसी, सीआरपीसी और इंडियन एविडेंस एक्ट की जगह लागू किया गया है। अंग्रेजों ने 1857 की क्रांति के बाद तीनों आपराधिक कानून लागू किए थे। तबसे 30 जून 2024 तक ये लागू रहे। नए आपराधिक कानूनों को मोदी सरकार ने साल 2023 में संसद से पास कराया था। इनको 1 जुलाई से लागू करने का फैसला किया गया। संसद से तीनों नए आपराधिक कानून पास कराते वक्त गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा था कि इनको दंड की जगह न्याय देने के लिए लाया जा रहा है। नए आपराधिक कानून में कई प्रावधान जोड़े गए हैं। इसमें मॉब लिंचिंग के लिए भी कड़ी सजा का प्रावधान किया गया है। कई तरह के नए अपराधों के लिए सजा को भी भारतीय न्याय संहिता में जगह दी गई है। इसके अलावा पुलिस की जांच और गिरफ्तारी संबंधी नए नियम भी इसके तहत बनाए गए हैं।
