नई दिल्ली। भारत ने कश्मीर को लेकर पाकिस्तान को दो टूक शब्दों में जवाब दिया है। पाकिस्तानी सेना प्रमुख जनरल असीम मुनीर द्वारा कश्मीर को इस्लामाबाद के गले की नस बताने वाली टिप्पणी पर भारतीय के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने कहा, कोई विदेशी चीज गले की नस में कैसे फंस सकती है? कश्मीर भारत का अभिन्न अंग और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश है। कश्मीर से पाकिस्तान का एकमात्र संबंध उस देश द्वारा अवैध रूप से कब्जाए गए क्षेत्रों को खाली करना है।

वहीं 26/11 मुंबई हमलों के आरोपी तहव्वुर राणा के भारत प्रत्यर्पण को लेकर पाकिस्तान द्वारा दिए गए बयान पर विदेश मंत्रालय प्रवक्ता ने कहा, पाकिस्तान लाख कोशिश कर ले, लेकिन वैश्विक आतंकवाद के केंद्र के रूप में उसकी पहचान कम नहीं होगी। राणा का प्रत्यर्पण एक बार फिर पाकिस्तान को याद दिलाता है कि मुंबई हमलों के अन्य अपराधियों को भी न्याय के कटघरे में लाना होगा, जिन्हें वह अभी भी बचा रहा है।

जायसवाल ने भगोड़े मेहुल चोकसी की बेल्जियम में हुई गिरफ्तारी पर भी प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे प्रत्यर्पण अनुरोध के आधार पर, उसे बेल्जियम में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। हम प्रत्यर्पण के लिए बेल्जियम के अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं ताकि मेहुल चोकसी को भारत लाया जा सके और यहां वो मुकदमे का सामना कर सके।

वक्फ संशोधन अधिनियम के बारे में पूछे गए सवाल पर रणधीर जायसवाल बोले, यह भारत का आंतरिक मामला है और वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक इसे अधिक समावेशी, अधिक प्रगतिशील बनाने तथा लक्षित लाभार्थियों को अधिक लाभ सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कई समावेशी नीतियों का समर्थन करता है।

उन्होंने अमेरिका में भारतीय छात्रों के वीजा मामले पर भी बात की। विदेश मंत्रालय प्रवक्ता ने बताया, हमें जानकारी है कि कई भारतीय छात्रों को अमेरिकी सरकार से उनके F-1 वीजा स्टेटस के बारे में सूचना मिली है। हम इस मामले की जांच कर रहे हैं। हमारे दूतावास छात्रों को सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए उनके संपर्क में हैं।
